Ira's Bike Shop at 107 Bridge Street, Arroyo Grande, California.

I met Ira in 1990 through a friend of his. I was 18yrs old and a long ways from my home in Vonore, Tn. I was working and seeing the country staying with Jim Dotson at the time. I'm very sad to learn just now of Ira's passing 5-4-17. Ira, Brent, Tim and I use to have a really good time drinking beer after a hard days work in the back of Ira's bike shop. On tap beer from a mug with Ira and friends kept me from going nuts from missing home. We had a lot of good laughs.
I only knew ira & friends for a month before returning home in Tennessee, but they made me feel like part of their family, What times we shared laughing and joking in the back of the bike shop after closing time. To Ira's family; I'm so sorry for your loss...I know Ira is in a better place still laughing & joking. Jimmy D.
