It is a nice alternative to the Wal-Mart down the street. Kmart doesn't have the staff or the inventory that Wal-Mart has. In fact every time I go in there I think that they must be on the brink of going out of business. I'll see a lot of voids on the shelves where inventory used to be. But the staff, although overworked, keeps me coming back. They are knowledgeable and friendly. Kmart is never really busy so you can breeze through the checkout with your purchases. Some items will be cheaper than their competitor, most only a dollar or so higher. SEASONAL items are almost always better and less expensive there.
